My Daughter's Mission Trip to Arizona

Hello Everyone!
We made it to Arizona on Sunday. Everyone did a great job on the long trip.
A group from Dry Ridge Kentucky is here this week. They brought high school kids with them to help paint walls and finish the bathrooms at the worship center here on the ranch. Our kids are having a blast with them! David stayed at the ranch with our kids to help paint yesterday. 2I think…..they were all covered with white paint when I saw them!! J
I took Elijah and Tashena back to their house in Dark Shadows. All went well, I attached a picture of Tashena and her Mom. I think Tashena is going to church camp next week and Elijah the following week.
I went to the ladies jail on the res yesturday. We have church in jail on Monday’s. After church we have chips, cookies and soda for them. This gives us a chance to sit and talk. Then, the nail polish comes out!! They all paint their nails and laugh! It was fun. I think it’s a highlight of their week.
At 3:00 everyone met at the bus to go pick up kids in Canyon Day. I attached a picture of the line for dill pickles and unsweetened dry kool-aid packets to dip them in. It is so sour I don’t know why they eat them! A little girl that wasn’t 2 yet came running with her sister to get on the bus. She had no shirt on, a full diaper, lunch still on her face and a lonesome look about her. (I sent you a picture) After a while grandma came looking for her and took her home. The other kids play basketball, baseball, hopscotch, bubbles, chalk and roller skated for a couple hours before we took them home.
It was a great day.
